House Moon

The first Full Moon of 2012 looked pretty big as rising above a hilltop house in Serralunga d’Alba (some 60 km from Turin, Italy).

Full Moon over the Santa Vittoria Castle

After days and days of heavy rain in the northwestern region of Italy, fortunately the sky cleared up and I have been able to admire the majestic Full Moon rising over the tower of the Santa Vittoria d’Alba Castle (some 60 km from Turin).

The Moon and Jupiter meet over the lake

This evening I traveled again to the Candia Lake to capture the close encounter between the almost full Moon and planet Jupiter. On the picture above the lovely pair is framed by an arch of plants whereas below it appears together with a nice gazebo overlooking the lake.
