My “Old Moon over Isola d’ Elba” shortlisted in the Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2010 competition!

It is a great honour for me to have my picture “Old Moon over Isola d’ Elba” shortilsted for the “Earth and space” category of the prestigious  Astrophotographer of the year 2010 competition :-)

This year, the competition has teamed up with BBC Sky at Night Magazine and Flickr and will display the winning images at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich later in the year.
The competition’s four main categories are: Earth and Space, Our Solar System, Deep Space and Young Astronomy Photographer of the Year.
