A snowfall together with polar temperatures wrapped Turin with an ice grip this morning. I took this picture in the Remembrance Park, located on the highest hill around the city (715 mt).
Is this one of those time when each individual branch is wrapped in ice? I remember one such occasion when it did that and then the sun came out. The whole countryside (we lived in the Canavese) looked totally surreal By the time I got back home & got the camera the sun had, of course, melted the ice :{
Thanks David! When I opened the window this morning all the trees were completely white so I could not resist and drove up to the hill where the spectacle was even more splendid!
Gorgeous!
